Import a GPX or GeoJSON file — a Strava or AllTrails export, say — to add its
points here and in AR. Parsed and stored on this device only, never uploaded.
You can also drop a file anywhere in this section.
The default map provider above loads raster tiles from this URL template —
point it at your own tile server to keep the area you're viewing off the
public internet (every tile request tells whoever serves it, roughly, where
you're looking). The template must be https and include
{z}, {x} and {y}. Public OpenStreetMap
tiles require the attribution shown below (ODbL); a self-hosted source sets
its own.

A VITE_ tile provider key baked in at build time is visible to
anyone who opens this app — it is not a secret.

COMPANION MEMORY
Connect your own Companion Memory server to see Memories (places, photos,
check-ins) pinned where they happened. Sign in below, or paste an API key.
The key is kept on this device until you sign out or change server.

The server's operator must add this app's origin, port included, to
CORS_ALLOWED_ORIGINS. Make the API key at Settings → API Keys
on that server with the Read-only capability and no scope boxes ticked:
GraphQL refuses a scope-limited key.
Or sign in directly, with no API key. You get full access as yourself, which a scope-limited key can't give. The session lasts 5 minutes and renews itself while this page stays open, using the password held in memory only. Reloading forgets it.
Only memories that started within this window are asked for, on the map and around you. A memory imported without a date carries the day it was imported, so it can fall outside a window it belongs in.
